What can I use chat for?

The simple answer is anything! There are countless issues we can take care of through chat, and we can always convert a chat conversation to a phone call or telehealth visit if needed. But if you’d like a little more guidance, here are some ideas:

Most minor issues

Things like urinary tract infections (UTIs), pink eye, cold sores, rashes, cold and flu symptoms, allergies, and asthma. You can even send a picture through chat to help your doctor quickly identify what’s wrong and treat it.

Prescription refills

If you’re getting low on your cholesterol or blood pressure medication, or if you need a refill of your inhaler for the upcoming cold season, just send us a quick note and we can get you what you need in no time.

Any medical question

Ever wonder why you get a runny nose after you eat? Okay, maybe not – but we’re here to answer any questions you may have. COVID vaccine guidance? How to prevent diabetes? Most effective cough medication? We’ve got you covered.

What’s new?

Over the past year you’ve been able to chat with your doctor through the Radish Health app, but we recently added some new features to make it even easier.

Organized chat threads

Now you will easily be able to find your past chats organized by the issue at hand. Due for that Valtrex refill? Just scroll down to the last time you requested it and tap “follow up” to continue the conversation!

Easy appointment follow ups

Did you just finish up a telehealth appointment and forgot to ask the doctor an important question? Head over to the appointments tab, hit “follow up,” and get a response from your doctor within minutes.
