We sat down for an interview with Dr. Stella Gandhi to learn more about her life outside of work, what she enjoys doing in her free time, and what drove her to become a doctor. See what she had to say below!
A: I think one of the biggest difficulties is a lack of health education. Many patients have just been told what to do when they get sick, but don’t understand what is going on in their bodies. So I make an effort to help my patients understand what they have, why certain treatments will work or won’t work, and what they can do to feel better. Understanding your illness can give you a great sense of empowerment.
A: I love that at Radish we put patients first. Not only do we provide easy access for patients to reach a doctor, but also quality evidence-based care and great follow up.
A: I’m a foodie! So if I’m not trying out a new restaurant, I’m in the kitchen with a new recipe! And to help balance out my sweet tooth, I’ll be at the pilates studio!
A: Seeing the appreciation of someone you’ve truly helped. Especially those who may not have had access to healthcare otherwise.
A: Ever since I was little. I used to listen to my stuffed animals’ hearts with a play stethoscope!
We hope you enjoyed getting to know Dr. Gandhi a little better! She provides excellent care for our patients and has over a decade of experience in the medical field. If you feel like you could benefit from meeting with Dr. Gandhi, feel free to book an appointment now!
